Grutterij en Molen de Hoop

We are Frits and Maaike Botter. We have a son, Thijs (born 2009), and a daughter, Fleur (born 2013). Our family lives in Zevenaar. Since 2014, following in the footsteps of six generations of the Pijnappel family, we have continued to run Grutterij-Molen “De Hoop” in Oud-Zevenaar. We offer a wide range of flours, baking mixes, baking essentials and lovely gift items.

Would you like to develop your skills in bread baking and/or patisserie? Then why not join one of our workshops!

We run a variety of workshops. You can sign up individually or as a group. We’ll then put together a group of 10 to a maximum of 12 participants (this may vary depending on the workshop). The workshops are held here at the mill, in a unique, atmospheric setting with plenty of personal attention. Workshops available: bread baking with yeast or sourdough, cake decorating and shortcrust pastry workshop.
